Not sure if anyone is still reading any of these...but anyway:
How long does it usually take for the martian super-fleet to show up? I've probed every body in the galaxy (get your minds out of the gutter...) and colonized all of the possible planets/moons. Terraformer has been built for about 4 years. I've given up and simply parked all my ships at various colonies and just hit FF...up to 2017 now, and nothing seems to be happening. What else do I need to do? TIA for any replies. |

It may be very repetitive and very scripted but, i absolutely LOVE this game ! I played it first on the Amiga 500 in the early 90s and became so addicted to it i still play it from time to time even today.
And then they released a sequel, which is even better. I remember the expectation of Deuteros, and when it came out, i bought it for the Amiga, and yes it was even more addictive than Millennium 2.2 ! Ian Bird, wherever you are now, thank you Edit : Oh, and i loved the music on the Amiga, i think it was a symphony from Mahler iirc... |

Em... how do I build a colony? I can't buy SIOS since I don't have either power or two critical resources for this and I cannot mine them on moon neither... so... how?
[/b] the answer therfore is simple. S.I.O.S. you can only build, if your base is equipped with the Mark X Power unit. No need to find something else. Of course, you will need the right amount of the therefore needed materials. Marcel, the very, very old Gamer |

This was a fun game, I wished it was a little randomized too. Once you've played it a couple times not much new to experience. Would be the perfect game if it did that, and you could queue up production!

Hi. I finished the game a few days ago.
I had defeated the Martians and I didn't expect the big fleet appears. But when I was reaching the end, terraforming earth or so, they show up and kill 600 colonist on moon and the solagen. Thanks to the notice of this thread I had an extra solagen in the bunker and with the scrap of a Carrack I could keep the base working. I had 64 fighters and 9 orbital lasers, but still it wasn't enough. I didn't like so much that overwhelming attack in the end, but in overall it's a great game. Very good concept and fun managerial gameplay on an excelent setting. I recommend it, despite the score it has on the site. Saludos! |
