Discworld on a 64-bit System
Hello! I installed VDMSound on my Windows 7 64 Bit system, but from everything I'm finding online, it seems that VDMSound doesn't work on a 64 bit system. I really want to enjoy Discworld's great voice acting, but it's looking like I won't be able to.
Does anyone who's gotten it to work have a 64 bit system? Is there something like VDMSound for 64 bit systems, or maybe a way to get the sound to work on DOSBox? Please help, and thanks in advance. |

I've run it in DOSbox without any problems. It's not the version with sound, though.

I'm hearing sound (music at least) in DOSBox. What problem do you experience with it?
You should run "config" and set: Sound Blaster 16, 220, 7, 1, Sound Blaster OPL3.

The sound should work in DOSBox unless your copy is a ripfrom which the sound has been removed.
