Default SimCity 2000

1993? God I feel old. I remember lusting for this while playing SimCity.

I just wanted to mention, for those that might not know, SimCopter is a cool game that is pretty easy to get. With it you can actually FLY (and walk) through your own SimCity2000 cities (I never get them past the village stage).

Happy flying

it's fun to watch your city grow from absolute nothing into a big living city.. watching the countryside houses, farms, big company industries, factories, apartments rising everywhere, skyscrapers, etc etc etc.. (i think i made myself clear..)

BUT, it's much much more fun watch that city crumbles by the fires, earthquakes, and UFOs?? whew.. just don't forget to save first.. or else..

This is a fascinating game. I was first introduced to it when I took small business class in Russia (it's free, kind of like.. a school workshop). A company donated some that workshop. It was my firist time I've ever worked on a computer. At first game confused the >hot place< out of me, mostly because it was all in English.. lol (stupid idiots didn't get Russian version.. or didn't bother to mod it if there's no Russia version). Anyways, after few weeks of playing it I was pretty good. We used to have little tournaments between schools and stuff... it's a good game.

I own a copy of SimCity 3000 and like to play it occasionaly... I still didn't buy the newest one.. gotta do it one of these days...

IMO, simcity 4 sucks.. i prefer simcity 2000 or 3000. as for simcity 1, it's fun to play.. too bad the empty space are so limited and no neighbours around.. but i liked it.. i remember spending hours and hours just figuring how to get the rank of metropolitan.. or is it metropolis??

Simcity 2000 is good, but since I have 3000 I don't play 2000, not because it would be worster just that it gets old after a while.

I think the worst part in simcity 2000 was thesub. If you did not do it ne way through but one by one the pipes won't match. Is there a way i can get rid of a tornado?

I liked sim city 4
but it was damned hard compared to sim city 3000

Sim City 2000 Network Edition was one of the first games I ever played (this was one of the games included in a package of aging games like Return to Zork, Broken Sword, Master of orion 2, jagged Alliance)
I had to mess around with the computer (trick the game into thinking I had an internet connection) so I could play it in singleplayer.
ofcoarse the network edition depended on you making contracts with other players so its was much more difficult than the singleplayer game.
