Only on Vista, I believe. On XP, all is fine and dandy (at least in Romania).

What's the surprise here? I can clearly remember up to about 2 years from now articles warning people that Vista (which was not going to be called that way, but they changed the name on the way... Too bad I can't remember the name) was being created with the sole purpose of being able to control everybody movement over the internet...

Longhorn. :brain:

I remember seeing tons of leaked versions of longhorn. Working ones at that and that was 3 years ago. It took them a while to get "vista" out.

I do not think it's about being scared - it's about having privacy.
Should we disconnect our Vista computers from the network, and have a second one with a different system to get on-line?
I believe everyone of us has something that he or she wants to keep in his own garden. If your home it's not a private place - then which place is?
You job or the park down the alley where drunk people congregate.... ?

[rant]I don't live in the US, but I have a Vista/XP dual boot and I pretty much never use Vista. Why? Because so far Vista has been nothing but a huge load of crap. Thank god there came a rescue disc with it... [/rant]
