Monkey Island Special Edition question
I see it's on sale half off now on Direct2Drive and Steam. Does the game come with Steam or if I were to buy off Direct2Drive, would it install and function like a normal standalone game? Can't decide if I'd rather get it with all of the Steam junk or not since I hate the way Steam installs games. But I don't have any experience with Direct2Drive.

D2Drive has nothing to see with Steam.
It will act/install as a normal game. But you'll need a validlicense key to run the game, you can reinstall a specific game some 2-3 times I thought, and then the license stops working. However, if you contact the costumer service they can reactivate the key.

I ended up just buying on Steam. I was worried Direct2Drive would install its own special app to organize games.
