OK, i've got a laptop from my school (lucky me) and all my friends somehow, can get games installed on theirs. I've tried a whole crapload of ideas, and i'm out. Can someone help me out here? :help:

You don't have the admin acess, you can't install anthing on it, there are ways to bypass this, yes, but they are beyond me...

Use a game that's in a .zip file, and instead of saving it to disk off the internet, just run it. Then extract everything to where you want it to go.

Simple as that, really.

Best way to go against Administrator access: use DOS prompt. Or a bootdisk.

If it has windows XP go into "Safe Mode" and log into safe mode as a admin.


To get in safe mode....When xp goes to the little loading screen with the moving bar....Turn it off and turn it back on and go to safe mode.
