@Japofran
Hex editors are your friends. :amused: One text part is attached: offset 0000FDC1 - 000102A8 The word ends and punctuation marks are stored within the preceding letters via added values (hence the nonsense characters). Replaced them (but without spaces). The original goes to extras. Good Old Days has it as well, and yes, the parts about the WC are original.

Yeah I used a hex editor but I've never done hex editing and I just explored the content right away, so a text editor would have served the same... L0L I used XVI32 and I've never tried its features nor do I know whether it has the ones I'd need for this.
Anyway this may be a good solution. This game doesn't have lots of text after all. But why not sharing the work? I could translate it if you want (can't promise any deadline though) but it would be done much faster if someone who already knows the drill does the hex magic for me and I can work with text.

Sure, but I can't promise anything as well. Not only because of time, but also concerning the hex editing. Will be trial and error, and not until then I will see if it is possible actually.

Yeah take it easy, so will I, this isn't due anytime soon necessarily.
Actually the developer of the remake disassembled the whole thing and, besides many other things, replaced the text with translated versions... But I don't know if we should ask him to point us, we might if it didn't represent any work for him with the material he's already got.

The "final" version of the remade engine is out - and with Portuguese translation by yours truly ...
Seriously - check it out - that game is a a part of computing history.
