I have an old CDrom of the DOS version mega man X that I have dug out and was trying to play again. But I have been having problems with it. It seems to install correctly but when I try to run it in XP I get not sound, if I try to run it with VDMS I get sound but the music is choppy and the game it's self is extremely slow, and when I try DOSbox there is soundFX but no music. :wallbash: I hope some one can help me figure out what is wrong.

You should try to re-configure the music for the game in DosBox. Try setting it to Soundblaster, for example.
Soundblaster PRO is better than Soundblaster (original or 2.0) though, because it offers stereo music unlike the Soundblaster option. |

Whenever I play megaman X I just use the ZSNES emulator. After all, the pc version is emulating an SNES system game.
