Arrows to move.

Prince 1: shift to fight (supposing you've picked up the sword, also using shift for that) and to drink potions. As far as I can remember, up arrow worked for jumping. No idea anymore on how to save and load a level :whistle:
shift+arrow to take small steps (useful to move to the border of a platform)
There's also a way to deal different blows with a sword, I think those included a combination of up+shift, or maybe the up key once your sword is drawn?


Prince 2: shift to hang onto ledges and to pick up potions.
ctrl to draw your sword (unlike in Prince 1 where it was only and automatically drawn whenever there was an opponent) and to use it.
escape to pause.
alt+Q to quit.

There are a few more, hopefully someone else can help you out with those.
You might take a look around on the internet, I remember some sites provided all that info.

Since someone asked for the controls I wouldn't have expected them to be in here

This game is impossible... killing flying heads is an absolute nightmare..

You just need to understand the conception of how to fight those heads, and you'll see that it's not that difficult! (you have to wait 'the head' to come near you, and then you kick them (DO NOT TRY TO KICK THEM EARLIER!)! k:

Hello everybody,

I download the file from this site. When i run the exe file I get an error message saying wrong startup directory, check your pif file. When i run it directly from dos promt the game runs normally but when i kill the first opponent it crushes. :ranting:

Any help? Thanx anyway.

use vdmsound or dosbox (both in the utilities area of the main site)

I somehow managed to run the game without these two by changing the setup configuration but it crushes in the second level. I tried these two, my computer is too slow for DosBox, with VDMSound it still crushes in the second level. Anyway, not my day.

in level 4, theres this purple carpet on the ground, when im on it and i press "down" it flies me out of the roof, THEN THE GAME CRASHES.... why? im running it on newest DosBox, configured well....

it is not flying you out it smash you right into the bars that are in the ceiling hole, it happen to me as well, probably you first need to open the roof....
