Well, the gamepad is not the most important addition to the PC today, especially since not many if any today's games at all have a gamepad support or require it. A little different there with maybe a joystick or a wheelpad, but many games are just playable easily with a mouse today, default or a special gamer's mouse, so...

There is a Add-On: Cadaver The Payoff.
This is very hard to solve but funny to play. Only for Hardcore Cadaver Fans. |

To say One Think, Cadaver was Designed for Amiga and Atari ST, i played it on both and i bought me a nice Item to have the old feeling back, a 19 Bug Joystick USB. Featuring the Old Competition Pro. The Stick mainly used at Comodore Machines like C64 and Amiga. It Works Fine with most Things on PC and u have the Old feeling back. BTw i broke one of the Switches in nearly the Same time i Broke them on my original Serials one from the Amiga...

I didn't understand what you meant by "problems with controls", so I downloaded the version you have here and found out that it really is messed up! Not just that it has damaged setup.exe, but the controls are redefined in a pretty awkward way too. With the default setting it's very easy to control with keyboard (probably easier than with joystick). I have the correct version (including the Payoff addon, crack and Payoff docs), so if you'd like I can upload it here, just tell me how.

Just to add a little info to this thread:-
I believe that the idea for Cadaver was taken from a game that was written using the Amiga Basic language AMOS, if I remember the name of the game I will post it here, same sort isometric 3D view and a very similar idea. Solve the puzzles to open up other areas of the game. |

EDITED POST
VDMSound allowed me to run it with soundblaster sounds. If you use DOSBox, you will only have the system speaker bleeps.

Run setup first, screen is a bit garbled but you can select audio -> sound blaster, save and quit setup. Runs fine with SB sounds. Or: Edit cadaver.ini and replace Beeper by Sound Blaster Mind the caps, must be as I wrote or it won't work. Dosbox restart needed.
