I recently dug up my old copy of Wacky Wheels, a really fun Mario Kart clone. For multiplayer, the game says it supports modem/serial games, but is it possible to get a network game going, via TCP/IP or something similar? I did a Google search but found nothing.

Perhaps it did, I don't know. I just played Mario Kart first and going to Wacky Wheels, it's very similar.

mario kart was released in the U.S. 1991, wacky wheels 1994. it is a clone though.
