Oh this brings back memories..

I agree with MV75's comment on the ram spikes.. i used to get these and a good engine, and just hang back at the start. Then hump all adversaries to death!

You change between weapons using the number keys. Space always is the fire key.

Excellent oldschool game!

There was a motorbike one too... forget what it was, just racing, but around the same timeperiod, just as much fun.

Of course, by the time I was using these games, I had already been playing games since... well, since pong.

This is a lot of fun, a worthwhile find!

If you want one from the same era that's side view fighting, Mondo's Fight Palace (Tongue of the Fatman).

There are so many good games from that era, (I wish I could find "Warmonger" or "Warlords")... that it's hard to choose just one!

Deathtrack certainly takes the cake, and it would be awsome if they remade it for what we have available today! There's a market for racing games, and this one could build on it's own idea, and daaaaaamn!

Rambling. Just stop reading what I'm typing, and PLAY IT!

The speed percentage would be based on your machine's speed.
I suggest you use DOSBox instead - that will get the game running with full sound and music, without any worries about crashing.
