the funny thing is M$ is sugesting the use of another browser. WTF?! Android?

Anyway Firefox is leading over IE in Slovenia. It took over last month!!! Go open source!

What I love is when they call it a "new vulnerability". It's really an old one, just recently(?) found.

And it's never a good idea to use your server for general browsing, which appears to be a part of the issue here. Get your server running, then leave it alone. Only browse when you need to update your system.

I agree with Dosraider, and really this isn't news. No, no program can be guaranteed free of bugs. And for a program whose business is network connection a bug may be security sensitive. It doesn't matter if it's text based.

Anyway crackers just look harder for vulnerabilities in IE because there's more to gain, that's all. And known unpatched vulnerabilities haven't gone beyond two throughout 2008, that's as good maintenance as any other browser:

IE
Firefox
Opera
Safari
