i remember what PC-Format said about this game:
"it's like buying a Ferrari, and crashing it into a wall a few weeks later..." they meant the short and few levels. now we can all see if they were right. i love to see this game back, thank you very much!!! it is a true gem. |

This is one of those classic Bullfrog games, which we haven't seen the like of since.
A piece of gaming history right here! |

I tend to get stuck after a dozen levels - an genie type of enemy appears that follows you like a dog and drains your mana.
Did I run into a bug of a specific version, or is there something special you need to do to kill these guys? Without mana no spells, without spells there is no killing them :s |

What problem? Millions. First of all, it is not clear what's what. It is not known where to fly? What? Bad graphics (for 2008, of course). General nonsense kind. Last edited by eugene425; 13-08-2010 at 01:51 PM. Reason: In order to improve foreign language skills. |

The game came out in 1994, thus you were 14 years off.

Eugene this is a site for people who like old games, you don't like this game. So leave it alone, you don't see the rest of us saying how much we hate a game in its thread.
If you don't like the game because you do not understand what to do, maybe read some of the posts in the thread, other posters are already talking about the best ways to play the game. If you don't like the game cause of the graphics, well thats your choice, just say you don't like the graphics not that the game sucks and move on to a game you do like. |

Anyways, I had this game back when it was new. I'm curious if anyone has the CD version, as I remember that it had a hi-res graphics option, as well as a 3-D option. (The game came with 3-D glasses.) I liked the beginning levels, but as the game progressed it got too difficult. For me, it just went from fun to frustrating and I lost interest. I'm sorta looking forward to seeing how I'll feel about it now. |

Unfortunately, the only version I have on CD is the sequel, still, this 3D option sounds interesting, I must say.
