This game is still sold.

Therefore we cannot:
1. put it up for download on Abandonia
2. provide you with links to any source of download
3. send you the archive through e-mail
4. send it to you via any messenger programs

If you want it... buy it.

Here is the install help file on the download page-

First, you need to install Daemon Tools. Then you mount the ISO
of the game with right-clicking on the Daemon Tools-icon in the
task-bar near the clock below.

Choose "Virtual CD/DVD-ROM" and click on "Mount image". Select
the ISO-file, then there should appear the view of the folder
of the ISO. You'll see the letter of the drive mounted for that
ISO (usually H:\). Notice it. DON'T close this window while you
want to play the game!

Now start DosBox and type EXACTLY the following:

mount -t cdrom h h:/
mount c c:/
h:
setup

(now select the soundcard for the sound / music, after that
you'll be asked if you want to copy parts of the game on
the harddrive, click on yes and install full into the specified
folder. Notice the folder's name)

c:
cd *folder-name of the installed game*
ecstatica

One word of advise: don't rename the ISO-file of the game while
you are playing it, or the installed game on the harddrive won't
recognice the ISO as the "CD-Drive" anymore and you'll have to
install the game again then.

That's it, have fun playing the game!

I have Daemon-Tools and I get the Virtual Cdrom mounted as a cdrom drive. I run setup from the iso-drive and it informs me that it can't create a sub-directory. I select Sound Blaster and then a Full install... It only creates the ECSTATIC folder with FILES and SAVED. It seems that it isn't installing the game files, I'm not seeing 'ecstatic.bat'. A FULL install is 60MB, and I'm not seeing that.

I can copy the files from the virtual drive into an Ecstatica Folder, but I can only manage to get through the intro.

Any tips?

Damned, those little pigs with axes need a hundred kicks before they lay down.

And ecstatica's combat is as crappy as the one from Alone in teh dark.

I've had it. No fun, no fun at all.

And you can't even pick up their mace after you knock them out... The best advice, I've determined, is to run, run, run, run awaaay. Run and hide. I don't know if combat will ever get easier, I would hope you can find a decent weapon.

After all that trouble with getting it to work properly, the game itself poses an even greater struggle.
