Guitar Hero features a total of 30 classic/new rock songs and 20 extra hidden "Original" songs. Songs on the 6 classes of style in-game are performed by cover bands and are not the original singers. The game is played with a minitaure guitar that plugs into the PS2 and has 5 "Fret" buttons. Completing a number of notes in a row completely let you build up "star power" the crowd goes wild. Actavating star power is simple. point the guitar straight up. I highly recommend this game to anyone that has rythym and music running through their veins. There are 4 difficulty settings. Based on the setting the speed and number of buttons you have to push to successfully complete a string of notes increases, giving even the most mediocre guitar player a challenge. Lots of fun with beer and friends. Not a resonable price but i tell you it is worth it...Check for it at your local best buy...Retail...about $75
