It's another emulator, similar to DosBox in a way. It consumes less system resources, but the emulation is not as complete as with DosBox.

i tried the core=dynamic and cycles=auto....i even tried the different possibilities...didnt do much...i thought that it was supposed to make the cycles to the perfect amount but that wasnt the case...

What processor are you using exactly? If it happens to be an Intel Celeron, then that could possibly affect it...

im using dosbox 0.61 and im having the same problems as everyone else. Should i go to dosbox 0.65?

It might help.
just keep 0.61 installed as well.
The DOSBox people don't mind.

Always try the latest version. You never know what bugfixes might have been introduced...
