I'll probably have to say bg 2, but I'm actually playing Planescape Torment right now and it's pretty freakin good!! But of course since I haven't finished it I wont know if the ending blows so I can't call my new favorite just yet

You'll like it a lot - if not the ending, how the plot developes and how you come to love the characters k:

You won't be dissapointed.
My all time favorite is BG2 but Torment is close and in some aspects better.

Hi all.
I picked Fallout 1 because it was basically the first totally awesome game I ever played to completion. Yes, yes, all of the other games have their places, but Fallout pulls you deep into the post-apocalyptic era and lets you kill ANYONE. I love playing this game still. (It works on XP).

I Have all of the baldur's Gates, and though they are great games, there are plenty of other games just like them or better out there.

There is no game (besides Wasteland) quite like Fallout in its originality.

I liked Ignus and the githyanki the most. Also their background story and their relationships with the main character was very... interesting to uncover.

Why'd you ressurect this topic?
Diablo II is a RPG, and don't say otherwise. The only people that do are usually abnormal obsessed weirdos that say anything that only requires a small amount of intelligence to play is not a RPG. A RPG does not require you to be the Einstein of your time.
Here's a better phrase, Diablo II: RPG for Dummies.
And a lot more fun that others. :bleh:

My favorite RPG is System Shock 2

To be honest, I didn't understand that phrase: "...The only people that do are usually abnormal obsessed weirdos that say anything that only requires a small amount of intelligence to play is not a RPG...", but remark about "Diablo II : RPG for Dummies" is quite right.
