I think this version may have had a crack applied or something...

At the very beginning leave the hut and talk to Tristia. No matter what you say (apart from schwartzer) she asks if that means you love her & you get a y/n choice. If you say y she gets all happy BUT this occurs even when you say bye. So there is no way to exit talking to her. To get out of the conversation you HAVE to say no twice which causes her to faint & die.

Exclamation Multi-colored pixels

Hi,

I'm having the same problem. I've installed the game correctly, got the full opening and character creation with full music.

But, when I start actually playing, the map is full of multi-colored sprites everywhere.

I've tried re-installing many times with no luck. I'm running off of DOSBox on my Windows 7 laptop.

Please help! I would love to play this game again!

Problem is, the graphics aren't quite right. During the initial conversation with Intanya, the Fabozz's face gets covered up with a sort of "shimmering" panel of multicolored pixels. And then the same is all over the screen, especially wherever shadow should be.

Also, if anyone knows how to walk in diagonal directions without a number pad or a num lock key (apparently), that would be great.

As far as I know this archive should be play ready and not need any installation at all. And we are going to need to know your mounts to help work out this problem.

This and Martian Dreams are now on GOG.....but both are still free. These are actually the first games that GOG has made into freeware (rest of the games were freeware years before GOG added them), so big props to them.

As for this sites versions, current plans are that we'll be linking to the GOG versions as with the "They're only freeware through that source" rule.
