Hey,

I downloaded an oldie, Axis & Allies Iron Blitz from www.the-underdogs.org I unzipped the package and ran the .exe but it said "a required .DLL file, SMACKW32.DLL, was not found. I pulled one off the net but it said the version was incorrect. I'm doing all of this on Windows 98.

Can anyone please help?

The .dll is already part of the archive. I beleive your problem is that you forgot to run the .reg file to enter the game in the registery. By doing so, the .reg will enter the game in the registery with the current folder it is in, so Windows will know to get that version of the .dll it needs.

Do not move or rename the directory after you used the .reg file. Or use the .reg file again if you do, I guess.
