Hey, need help on getting novastorm to work in dosbox. Running vista btw.

Not 100% sure how to install this game using the iso, but I copied the files into a seperate folder straight from the virtual drive and tried running novastrm.exe which gives me the following error after loading serveral things:

System Scan Error Changing Dir in ReadCD

you need to mount that image file with your favorite image mounting program

then mount the virtual drive in dosbox like this:
  • mount d [drive where the game is] -t cdrom
where d will be name of the mounted drive in dosbox, of course

then install from there

First you should mount the Novastorm image in DOSBox as a CD. Then try running the executable, I have a faint feeling that it has no installer, just runs from the CD.

Well, oddly enough the fix was simpler than I thought. All I had to do was copy the cd's files into the CDrive folder because the game creates a .cfg file in the CDrive rather than the novastorm folder I made.

I just tried to download Novastorm, and I noted NOVA.r01 is missing from the 4shared folder. Can you add it back, Ermuli?

No problem, it's already on the way.
