Man I've got great memories playing this one! Although I never finished it - I got stuck at some stage where the game just wouldn't move on and I didn't know what to do.... :?

Very original game though, and great graphics!

Both Dune 1 ( sadly i have played it very little ) and Dune 2 are historic and revolutionary games. Don't forget that Dune 2 is the grandfather of all RTS games

Well, people, i mean, this is THE Dune, you know, like adventure and strategy in one, first game i finished on my Pentium, legendary story about planet Dune, Paul and blue-eyed girl on the desert sunset, i mean, common people, what's wrong with you? You even think about what this game is like?

It doesn't have Yueh in it... I know that
Why is it that my favourite characters are always traitors :?

which one?
Dune 2000 (2d)
or Emperor: battle for dune (3d)?

Yes the acted scenes are nice... the backgrounds are exactly like in the movies.
A nice thing to know: most of the 3d effects in the Dune game movies (dune 2000 and Emperor: battle for dune) and most of the C&C games were made with bryce.
thats right, not 3d studio max, plain old bryce.
the original Myst game was also made using bryce (i believe most scenes in myst were made by the same person that made the movies for westwood)

so... in your face all you who say Bryce is useless
(in case you don't believe me i can give you the website to prove it )

ehm... there
just wanted to say that
