Who cares, it's not like id or Raven have put out anything relevant or prominent in the last ten billion years. Since after like, Quake.

RTCW was basically "run around and shoot Germans and monsters in the face" the gameplay was very boring.

FPS-es are being more generic, boring and yadda-yadda. Often I only see improvements in graphics, sound and not much else. FPS-es with new and "innovative" features are often half-baked and borrowed.

Although I wonder why I can't stop playing DooM?

I don't care about the graphics, gameplay, etc. As long I feel good while I'm playing it, it's a good game.

This wolfenstein is gonna be different, they are adding better scenarios and some stealth missions, and the design is gonna be LOTS of different... in stead of some noobs in a robotic suit... there are gonna be advanced U-boats and planes and stuff

And of course... the running and shooting germans is still there... in some levels

i've just watched the video and actually, i love it when designers of every generic game say "THIS IS GONNA BE REDEFINING OF THIS GENERE"

I have played RTCW and it wasn't so bad, it had the fast and light Quake 3 Arena Engine, it was enjoyable and quite scary on high levels.
Frankly I don't feel the need to play a new title of the series, my favourites are always the old Wolfenstein.
