Okay, here's a quiz I made a few months ago, for another forum but people weren't interested because teh questions were too hard (pretty silly since most questions are easy for older gamers).
Anyway here you go: A. General Questions 1. Where did the developing studio, famous for games such as Populous and Theme Park, get its name? OK! 2. Who was the creator of the (in)famous gaming series which featured actors such as Margot Kidder and Kevin McCarthy? Tip: he also played the lead character in this series. OK! 3. What is the name that was attached to a game rendition of a popular fairy tale written by Lewis Carroll?OK! 5. Which game used a famous “one liner” from the movie They Live?OK! 6. Many argue about which game was the real first First Person Shooter. Most say Wolfenstein 3D but which earlier game by the same company laid the real foundations?OK! 7. Sometimes games use acronyms as title (KKND, GTA) to make an otherwise lenghty title snappy – but which game got its “long name” banned, being forced to stick with the 3 letter acronym and made allusions to this in their advertising campaign?OK! 8. B5: Duke Nukem 3D B9: Privateer C2: Buzz Aldrin's Race into Space [/b][/quote] No :P NWN is from 2002. We're talking about the game that created the foundation for others like Everquest, World of Warcraft, etc. And B5 and B9 are correct. C2 is a great guess, but think FPS game |
