You should write more reviews, russ.

(*tries to not show that he's just trying to raise more reviews*)

Hmmm... this statement is being made upon completing the game?

All that aside and to be "fair", here are some of the things I learned while playing. I think they're called tips.
  • - There is really not too much to be gained by exploring the street level map or, for that matter, collecting nickels before you actually need them to gain entrance through a door.
  • - Try not to go crazy while shooting with the pen. Instead, reduce a Doodle to an ink blob and either move in close to pop the blob or draw it closer to your current position by sucking it in with a pen. You then stand a much better chance of collecting any of the bonuses released by the ink blob once it is destroyed.
  • - Remember the Stone Gargoyles and Giant Wooden Nickels are not obstructed by the same structures as Harris. This is especially important to remember while in the Cool World dimension of a level. While a Stone Gargoyle will take its time getting into a vortex to Real World, an ink blob that turns into a Giant Wooden Nickel will head straight for a vortex.
  • - While jumping on the head of a Doodle will not harm it, you can use the Doodles as launching points to help you jump higher, possibly even to the next platform. The same method can be used with ink blobs, with the difference being the ink blob may just pop in the process.
  • - Remember that Harris does not automatically climb stairs. A timed jump will be necessary to land on the stairs before ascending.
  • - Cool World and Real World both have "sweet spots" depending on the level you are currently on. It may be to your advantage to stay put in Cool World and blast all the Doodles before they reach Real World. It may be to your advantage to stay put in Real World and blast the Doodles before they can send items back to Cool World. This will have to be discovered through gameplay.
  • - It is almost always to your advantage to position yourself in either world in a spot where two vortexes are visible at the same time. Try to position Harris in a pivotal location where the Doodles will practically come to him, instead of endlessly racing around to catch a Doodle.
  • - While in Real World, be mindful of where the items are. It is sometimes more useful to let a couple of items slip into the vortex to Cool World, especially if they are already close to a vortex in Real World. This forces any future Doodles to have to travel greater distances to collect objects, giving Harris more time to track them down and dispatch them.
  • - Your real enemy is the timer countdown. The additional time added when Harris is dissolved can seem like an eternity before a level is complete.
  • - Keep an eye on the Doodles and note their behaviours. Some Doodles have special abilities. For instance, one type of Street Urchin has rollerskates, allowing it to move at speeds far greater than Harris can run.

One request: If anyone ever figures out what the "B" bonus or the bonus that looks like sergeant stripes acutally do, please post this information.
Thanks!!
