15 years, running through -

Spectrum 16k 48k 128k
Commodore Pet
BBC micro
Dos 3, 5,6.2
OS/2
windows 2.1, 3, 3.1,95,98,xp ( missed out ME
( and a VERY small bit of linux stuff)

my first pc was an 8086 with about 10meg hdd, 640kb memory and 5 1/4 Floppy

it's pretty amazing when you look at it as 15 years is a relatively short stretch of time but the change in gaming / pc's is incredible

PC gaming since 1992, during the heyday of point-and-click adventure games; my first gaming experiences were on the 2600 in the early 80s. I will be 25 next month.

That's true, I can't imagine what gaming will be among 10 years.

My first gaming experience was on the Palladium 825/530, an early console with pong-like games. I must have been around 4 to 5 years. That was also the time when my dad took me to a few arcade machines, which were Frogger, Space Invaders and my favourite: Elevator Action.

With about 10 I got my Atari 800XL, 2 years later it was a Commodore C=128, a few years later to be followed by NES, Game Boy, SNES, PlayStation 1, PlayStation 2, GameBoy Advance SP and XBOX.

I bought my first PC when I was 17 years old from my first selfearned money back in 1992, it was a 386SX-33 with 85MB harddisk and 14" VGA screen. My first games were Indy 4 Fate of Atlantis, A-Train, Realms of Arkania and Jill of the Jungle. Since then I'm playing PC games regularly but almost only games from the mid 90s. I only have a couple of "modern" games installed on my current machine, which are Chessmaster X, EVE-Online, SimCity4, Silent Hunter 3.

I still own and use the PS2 and XBOX and these days I'm seriously thinking about getting a Nintendo Wii, but not sure yet.

Sorry for the long text

I started games when I was 9 on a Amiga500! My favourite game than was Ultima IV, Dune II, Beach Volley, Buggy Boy and R-Type. My last game on the Amiga500 was Turrican 3 back in 1993 if I am not mistaken. Stop gaming for 7 years. Of course, I still remember that day when I first installed Fallout I, best comeback game ever. When on to play Fallout II, Baldur's Gate, and other top-rated RPGs. What I can say is my comeback year was the best time I've had in my life....ever!

Advent on a teletype terminal in 1978. I suppose that's 29 years for me.
