Close call for me between the first 2, because they both were something very original when they first came out. I was equally fascinated by both of them.

Btw, has anyone here read the books, from beginning to the end? I think I stopped in the middle of book 5 or 6, they had some long and boring passages inbetween and I couldn't force myself to read on any further :/

I have read all the books, the prequels, and the originals! But my favorite was the original Dune Book.

i read all the books but not the prequels, the original dune book is 200000 times better than the later ones. but then its is a veeeery good book

Would you believe I havn't played any of the dune games... I think I've been deprived. I'm a big fan of the Weswood RTS games, and have played pretty much all of them, but I have missed out on playing any other RTS games.

its not a rpg as such

id say its a strategy/adventure game.

Dune II for me, hands down.

I have enjoyed all of the Dune titles, but the hours spent playing Dune II are the most memorable. Also, being one of the first early RTS games made it a groundbreaking release.
