I heard vague rumours that the (living) Beatles are planning to make yet another album, since they still have a lot of material left.
I'm not that a fan of the Beatles, but I find it intruiging that a 40-year old band is still capable of making new cds.

Especially with two dead members now.

But hey, studios may have a lot of material left from the recording sessions that was never edited and published. Personally I wouldn't mind hearing something new from Lenon.

Hnnn... nope, no, won't ever, ever, ever reach what they've already acheived. Not a chance in hell.

...and Lenon is dead.

well IMAGINE that... But if there really are recordings which include his work (either playing instruments or singing) and they haven't been open to the public - you can still hear something "new" from him. It's like opening of the archives after the people involved died and redescovering the facts from the past.

Yeah there will be released a new CD from them, with most of to date unreleased stuff...
Well there must've been a reason for it not being released

We'll see what it was, when the CD is out. I'm hoping that it's stuff they said wasn't released, because it wouldn't fit in with the image thier managment wanted them to have - hopefully it's not the stuff that's so bad in wouldn't deserve to come out... We'll see (or better hear) it.

Meh I think it's a money squeeze...

BTW isn't Michael Jackson the one who owns rights for most of their songs?

Lennon is dead - so what?
Okay, that sounded a bit too harsh, but my point is:
You don't really need the living people for best-of-albums
or albums with unfinished, unedited and unpublished material.
They did it with Tupac and it worked just fine.
