Ponystars!
Ponystars! No really, this takes me straight back to my childhood (when I wasn't beating up boys and stealing their Thundercat action figures). *Sigh* time flies. So anyway: you start with one pony. My best advice is get the closest to white that you can, as breeding lighter is incredibly difficult at the best of times. You'll always breed darker if you breed two equivalent shades. Not knowing this, I ended up with my dark and midnight-blue Sapphire. I love pegassi. This is Dancer, her first foal. Can you believe his sire is this pony? I bought this mare on the Black Market. Isn't she beautiful? It'll take another seven days for her to foal, though. The name is a pun on Silmarillion, because I've always liked it, and the mane is silver, so why not? I've mated her to a whitish-silver stallion. Hopefully a light pearly-pink pegasus will be the result. Tigershark was a fairy-gift horse (you get one early on, fully grown with trait). I wouldn't really choose that colour. Green on green? Ick. And there was no way I was calling him Stripy, if that's what you're going to ask...

You have cute wee ponies, Arete. Especially your black market mare. :amused: *pets all Arete's ponies*
It's cos of you that I got my own pony. Meet Tarja - http://www.ponystars.com/index.php?p=poney&id=873286 I was also given this one today as a gift from the Ponystar fairies. I named her Drusilla. Isn't she adorable. http://www.ponystars.com/index.php?p=poney&id=883749 Last edited by Frodo; 17-12-2008 at 04:24 PM. |

Aww what a nice Hobbitses. Apparently if you complete the grasslands quests, you get an Aurora ponystar. Tarja is adorable - I visited her today. Will look at Drusilla tomorrow.
EDIT: Wow, that fire coat is stunning. Sent off any breeding requests yet? Oh wait, you can't breed a pony who's on the Grasslands. Buy yourself a female foal as soon as you can then...

I started a second account -- linking from the old one gave me an extra 5000 gold. I went on a bit of a buying spree...
Frodo, for you, as promised. And this mare was an impulse buy. Abalone is such a pretty name. I couldn't help buying this cute little guy either. But Star is the one I wanted from the beginning... With a white stallion I'll be able to breed pastels from all my mares. With 75 potential ponies in each account, that'll be a lot of work eventually, but I don't really care. I'm more interested in the genetics, but it's so annoying that you have to pay dollars for the really nice traits...

When I click on your ponies though, I see an option to Challenge. What does that mean exactly? What am I challenging for? |

I assume that's for bored seven-year-olds.
