OK - so to put it back on topic - and yet another reply to Anubis...
You comented on my brief history od Slovenia and mentioned the massacre by the JNA... That's true too. The last fights of the WW2 in Europe were on the Slovene populated theritory (now belonging to Austria). Most collaborators from the ocupied Yugoslavia were moving towards the western armies - so they'd avoid death. They took entire families with them. The number is around a dozen tousends - the real number may never be known. They moved north of river Drava and were followed by partisan units (even after the peace treaty of May 9th). Last fights happened on the 15th of May - the collaborating units were fighting off the units trying to catch up with them. So most of them made it safe into Austria and surrendered to the western troops, but England decided to hand them over to Tito - who had most of them killed. The place is Pliberg/Bleiburg - the the Slovene Austrian border. Not something one can be proud of, but still a true fact that has happened... |

Stroggy, what do you think, who killed Mohammed al-Dura? (boy in these pictures) Sebatianos, It’s sad that a lot of people lost their lives, by army that called them self as freedom army. This was one of taboo theme in ex-YU. It's well known system of hiding the truth |

Who do you think killed him?
If it's murder and you know who did it - report to the local athority and have the man arested... If not - you're just provoking. Do we really need to go into every picture of a dead person in the middle east? What's the point? It's like Slobodan Milosevic trying to prove his point by showing people who were killed by NATO... Does that mean his cause was just? |
