I do remember when the first VIC20's did hit the shelves back in 1981 (here in my town). I always dremt to possess a VIC20 or a C64, when I was a kid, but my parents weren't of the same idea.
Only now, that I am 31, I'm collecting all those beauties I couldn't have as a kid. In 1987 I had my personal Thomson MO6 clone (Olivetti Prodest PC128). It was built around a Motorola 6809, running at 1Mhz, with 128Kb of RAM and a built in tape player. This when my friends switched to Amiga500's But I loved that micro. I found one brand new on eBay, months ago, and I bought it for some 20€. I'm the happiest 31er on Earth! |
