I'm afraid we can't let you post your email address on this forum - for your own good unless you want bots to add you to spam lists .

For a German version: if there ever was one, I'm sure there's some sites that host it. I know two French sites that specialise in French games so maybe there's German ones?

The PC floppy version doesn't have voice-overs. The PC CD version does have voice overs.

I guess you email will be removed for you own protection of SPAM.

IIRC DoxBox works fine under Win Vista, so check it out and read the FAQ.

I don't know about the malarky with running the install in XP and using comm.bat

I just used
SET BLASTER=A200 I5 D1 (OR 3, i CAN'T REMEMBER) H5 T6

just type that into dosbox and the sound and voice work fine for me.
Maybe it will work for anyone else who gets stuck.

Perhaps it would be an idea to change this game's archive, so it is downloaded with the correct configuration for Dosbox default..?

Step 1.
Uninstall Vista

Step 2.
Install Windows XP

Step 3.
Use Dosbox

Dude - if you signed up, got a membership here, we'd be able to help you better as we'd be able to use PMs (personal/sordid/private messages).
Not that you're likely come back here and see this.

It's weird how Jessica won't come out into the desert to visit sieches, yet she's perfectly happy to follow you out there on foot, wandering blindly, and not lift a finger to help when you die of exhaustion...

I just played it through. When I was a kid I played it several years, mainly, because at first I could barely read, what makes the game much more difficult. But I always loved the graphics.

I can highly recommend it. It took me round about six hours to play through. So its not very challenging and not boring.

I just love this game. I also played the Sega CD version but this one's better.
A very great game indeed.
