Default Max Payne is back!

Something is finally moving, at the beginning, when I heard about the movie I laughed a lot...well you know it's not so easy to create a movie based on a game, especially this one ...however it seems they worked a lot and they tried to follow the original plot, actually I don't have great expectations, but since I liked the games I think I'll go to the cinema anyway.

You can watch the trailer here:

Perhaps you don't remember that the story of Max Payne didn't end with the second game, the good thing is that the movie has probably given new fuel to the developement of the third title of the series, which it was awaited for years from fans...
More info here: Gamespot.

Let's hope they won't waste this opportunity, I think it could be a success or a big fail! :cheesy:

This actually looks really good as a movie. I'm sincerely hoping that some stupid group of desk jockeys over this side of the world don't rate it at R18. That would then require a torrent. I would, of course, rather see it in the cinema, but when the going gets tough, the tough get torrents.

You can find info here: Link

He generally worked on dark/esoteric action movies, some titles like Behind Enemy Lines, Bourne Ultimatum, Pitch Black...the good thing is that Sam Lake, who wrote the original novel for the game and gave the face to the first Max Payne (His face ) has adapted the plot to the movie.

This is the cast:

Never played the games, but I might give this one a chance.

I'm not really understanding Hollywood's choices of tough guys nowadays. Not as strange as Matt Damon for Bourne but still.
