Like many others here I'm playing the guitar, also in a band and as a songwriter (although I haven't written too many yet). When my band is rehearsing, I also love to play drums and really think about buying me an old one just to hack it into pieces.

I have a feeling I already replied to this kind of a thread, but I can't find a reply by me from this or the other thread. :blink:
Anyway, I'll reply now.. As said in my profile, I think, I play the bass guitar, the piano and the accordion. I'm not too good with any of those. :P I haven't taken piano lessons in 12 years or so now, but I continue to play it sometimes. The accordion I've played for a pretty long time and I have passed a couple of examinations in a conservatoire of sorts, but I still concider the bass my main instrument, even though I've never taken any lessons for it. I've been in two bands (playing bass) for a while now, one of which practically would get a record deal instantly should we accept it and another one which also looks pretty promising and is getting a little reputation locally. The latter one has made an album in 2004, but we made it completely by ourselves in our school's studio, and the final outcome sounds like it (read: sucks). The songs are played well, but the final mastering pretty much ruined it so that we won't sell the record anymore. It really doesn't sound as good as it could have. And certainly not as good as it could if we'd do it again now.
