Damn, I knew it would bring confusion and I don't know why superjamie has done it this way. The main download is the 2.0 Version. You don't need to apply the update on it. In the extras section there is the 1.0 Not Updated Version, on which you can apply that 2.0 Update.

Am I to assume I need to apply the 2.0 patch over the CD version?

Not sure about that. I was talking about the download in the extras titled "Not Updated Game Version"

Cool Am I The Only One?

Boy, these posts are on. Am I the only one who plays this game religiously?

Well, in case not, here:

http://b17fan.weebly.com

This is a website I've started about the B-17 and about the game. Log on, gimme a sound off if I'm not alone, here.

I get a 404 error: "site not published".

If I had known this game when I was a boy, I would have got addicted.

Paid my good money for it. Don't give up on me ... Lemme get it sorted out.

It should not be www.b17fan.com; but that's not working right now either!

http://www.b17fan.com/

There's the link, now this image verification is the hardest I have ever encountered anywhere, so I doubt I'll post here again. Too much of a pain in the rear end. But, I'll get that site working.

It has historical and accurate information about the B-17, links about B-17, info and links about the game, and information on modding.

You could just become a member, it's not that hard to sign up. Then you wouldn't need to worry about posting.

On your first link I get the same Site not published as Japo, on your two new ones Site not found.

Default That's because I'm an idiot.

http://www.b17fanclub.com/

There is the real link. Sheesh.

My own site I paid good money for and can't even remember how to get there.

It's laughable.

This game is so great. Not nearly as frantic as other flight sims but there are still white knuckle moments. I remember playing this back when it first came out. I only ever played my friends copy and I played the hell out of it. I wish I did pick it up when it first came out. That first manual that was released that was hundreds of pages with tons of historical information was awesome.
