Hi
I'm a linux user and i found out something really helpful for linux users who wish to play abandonwares:
As you know. most of these games run under DOS mode (except some like UFO and...) so you need a DOS emulator for these games, most of linux users cannot play "big" games because of its license (linux is under GPL license, for more information, search in google!) but here is the solution:: DOS emulator for linux!!!
check this site and enjoy!!!

Doesn't DOSBox work for Linux? (I'm really ignorant when it comes to Linux)

DOSBox has an official Linux version.

JJXB: Fallout 1 has a DOS version too... have you tried that?

i prefer using the windows version of it. apparently you need fallout 2 installed before fallout will install properly (which defies common sense)

Last time I checked dosemu wasn't able to run many dos programs and I thought it was a dead project. It seems that a new version was released this May! However there is a linux port of dosbox and it works amazingly well for years now
