VP might also affect speed, or at least it's full name ("Velocity Power") suggests so.
OTOH, it might just be Engrish.

i thought the p stood for points:

hit points (since hit power wouldnt make sense here)
offensive points
defensive points
magic points
and velocity points (though i think of em as visual points)

if it increases fighting speed i havnt seen much difference yet, but havnt paid attention. Movement speed is unaffected AFAIK

edit:
movement does seem to be affected, fighting speed definately

also, when attacking the ai, unlike my last idea of attacking a structure and letting the ai attack you, rampage arround in his village, killing all that moves but not harming any buildings. it will quickly kill the stronger units without them comming at you all in 1 go

Question: anyone know anywhere where there is a list of the various items and what they do? what about the gloves and shoes? the necklaces, staff and other things? the water thing seems to heal your unit a bit, but i havnt been able to find out what the use is of apples... tame a musso or something? How do i store items (most importantly, in what building) and where do i sell them?

if you can't hear sound:
1) do setup -> auto-detect
2) start game with prompt "loadhigh pwar" (i.e. C:\pwar\>loadhigh pwar)
3) enjoy.

Question Can't play this game

It say the system does not support full screen when I try to open the game. My OS is VISTA. Do I need another software to make it work?
I played this game when I was kid and miss this game so much... please help me.

Correct. This game won't work directly in Vista, but you can run it in DOSBox (and DOSBox works in Vista just fine).

Thanks. I am now trying to do that but I found all the code is quite complicated. I have my game folder called "OLDGAME" in C drive and I type mount C C:\OLDGAME then goto C:
and CD PWAR and typed pwar.exe
but then I couldn't open the game...it says "Please install your CD-ROM device driver and insert Jurassic war CD-ROM
What should I do next?? I am sorry if I have this question in the wrong place
Thanks

If I remember how I put this together, in the game directory there should be a file named pwar.bat or pw.bat (don't remember for sure, it's been a while). Run it and the game should start normally.

for further games, in general, just type the name of the game, pwar in this case, and the best one is automatically chosen, usually. an exeption is, forexample, merchantprince, where you dont use mprince, but "dosbox"
