I think the first version of DOS I have ever used was in the 1.0 or 2.0ish versions.
Very hard to tell, I was very young back then. It was definitely on a computer which didn't have an HD though. HDs were either not even created then or were too costly for anybody short of rich people to be able to have one. |

My vote goes to "too costly to be standard in that particular line of desktop microcomputers", Eagle of Fire

Windows 98. I think. Or maybe it was 95. I do remember playing around with the maze and haunted house screensavers, so that's the version of Windows that I first used.

Jeeze, I'm not sure. I know for a fact it was a Mac...but the OS I totally forget!
The first PC OS I ever used was 98, and that was a few years later. Win98 was fun, as the security on it wasn't very good and I constantly accessed my brother and sisters files. :3 |

First OS I ever owned was Win 3.1/DOS. I heart DOS for helping me restore Win98 and XP from crashing forever.
First OS I ever messed with was an aunt's Atari system with a keyboard. My cousin and I were curious enough to type anything, including what I saw from PBS kid shows and the Cloak and Dagger movie. Good times. |
