My three PC's are using the following mice:

At work: A4Tech 4D++. 2 wheels, 3 buttons, hand-fitting shape. Good piece of gear that's been with me since the two-buttoned piece of soapbox-shaped crud I had with my 486 broke down.

At home (Oldschool PC/ mom's PC-typewriter): A4Tech 4D+ or ++ (not sure). 2 wheels, 3 buttons. Not as nice as the one I'm using at work, but does it's job.

At home (private PC): A4Tech Opto 429. 2 wheels, 5 buttons, USB, optical. Kind of like 4D++, but even neater. Had one hell of a headache to get proper drivers, though.

Optical mice rule. Especially if you have small chuldren. There is nothing quite as useless as a neutered mouse (mouse from which the ball has been removed).
