I didn't own it, but I played through the whole thing when I hired it. I liked it, it was very good with a lot of non-essential areas and items you could own. The whole soul switching aspect was a gimmick, but it was one that worked pretty well, and some of the reincarnations came as surprises.

So yeah, i'd probably go for the buy. It was fun enough that I'd replay it.

I own it, it's pretty good, especially considering the age. If you're going to play it on a newer system be prepared for random crashes (unless you figure out how to patch/work around them... and in that case let me know, please )

I never got a crash, but I do get no sound, but eventually I worked my way around it, I downloaded the crack (I don't know if this was necesseray, the I opened the option screeen, turned the sound of, saved and closed that screeen, then I opened it again and turned the sound back on, save and close. Now the sound worked just perfectly, but I had to redo it at the start of the game.

Omikron a good game if you get it cheap, it's not worth spending big bucks on. Heads up: Omikron 2 will be released next year.

I own it, too, and would recommend bying it. I actually never finished it, but at least to the point where I got to it has a good story, good graphics for a game of its age and the city has a great atmosphere. Also the soul jumping thing works well.

I also have it, and liked it a lot. While the controls are quirky and the gameplay a bit unpolished, the atmosphere is solid and the story keeps on rolling.

Besides, it's got David Bowie in it.
