Why don't modern game boxes look nicer??
I have boght several new games recently and always find the boxes seem to lack the cool look of some of my older games , max payne 2, raven shield, hidden and dangerous 2, painkiller
the old boxes are nice custom made carboard designs that fold out and have nice long manuals for me to read while the game is installing but all the new ones are in a naff standard DVD case with a rubish looking sleve insert and either a really short basic manual or a manual on disc. some of them were not that cheap so it is disapointing that they don't have that little bit more effort put into the box maybe this is a stupid thought but somenthing about the older style game boxes just seemed to add to the experience of getting and installing a new game. lol of course it could also be because now the companies are a bunch of greedy %$£"ers who only want to sell you a nice box if you pay for the overpriced 'special edition; |
