No problem .
Discovered something else. Make sure you save the game inside your game folder (e.g. C:\Chaos). By default, the game put the save file into My Documents, which resulted in the following error:

Chaos Overlords has encountered an error while attempting to load a file. It is recommended that you save your game at this time. This game will continue, but things may get funky.

And then the graphics go all screwy and you can't play the game. You can't even quit without going to task manager.

So yeah, save inside C:\Chaos, and all will be good

Hey everyone. Rather than start a new thread I thought I would just tack this on. Ive had some successes running birthright: the gorgon's alliance using microsoft virtual pc (98se). So I thought I would give CO a try as well but it comes up with a message saying "the installed graphics cannot be used on this machine. please re-install chaos overlords".

Just wondering if anyone has a solution or if im out of luck?

Unfortunately I've not had that problem. Are you using the Abandonia version or another version? I remember trying to install it with the CD once and it didn't work...
