I need a program that can record in-game videos mostly gonna be used for recording vids of abandonware games. I need it to be a non-install program cause I'm not allowed installing.

There are none that will work with DosBox or VDMS correctly. You are screwed.

Someone has tried that before, to my knowledge. Don't ask the results, they weren't pretty...
Could there maybe be a possibility to channel the graphics output to another computer and record it using that one rather then the one the game is running on? |

I know this may sound crazy, but I think the easiest way (especially because you can't install any software) would be to record it as a video... Video output of one computer - hooked to the video input of another computer (or even a VCR). I have my computer hooked to the VCR and I did record a few games just for the fun of it (to recapture the stupid things I did with the old C64), and then I even played it back and recorded it as a TV programe on the PC.
I know it sounds crazy, but it does work. Just don't ask what happens to the resolution (that depends on the quality of the hardware). |

Or you could wait for DOSBox 0.64 :bleh:
They are working on implementing a video capture mode But it is highly uncertain if they can manage it. (Well, the can manage it, it's just that right now it makes the file huge.)

Moving to Technical. Not blahx3 by my standards.
Tom, I'm disappointed in you.

Ok, well I can't run DosBox, I'm on a 355 MHZ 256 MB ram comp. That's all I have too.
