Try to edit permissions on the save game folder. Remove read only, and add everyone if you using advanced security settings in WinXP.

Use VDMSound with this game, select custom configuration, click next.
On the next screen select 'create a new configuration from the scratch', click next. Click button 'Advanced...' Select 'Compatibility' tab and check box 'Enable low level CD-Rom support' (MSCDEX). And that should do it. (If you created ISO, like I did, then you can't save this configuration, but you can create shortcut on the desktop) In the first 3 minutes of play, I had to reload saved game 3 times. A bit hard game. (that monsters are killing me :blink: :angry: ) I'll try also DOSBox later. |
