for those still not able to run it, go get dosbox 0.63 and install it..

create a folder in c:\ and call it something like 'dosgames'..

and then put the folders of your games in to that folder..

now run dosbox and type in 'mount c c:\dosbox' and press enter..

now type 'c:' and press enter..

then type 'cd nameofgamefolder' and press enter..

the name of the game folder depends on what you named it, for uncharted waters i just have 'uw' as it's quicker to type. remember your game folder needs to be in the 'dosgames' folder that you created at the c:/ location..

you should now see something like 'c:\UW\' which means you're in this folder now. to run the game you need to type in 'koei.com' which is the game file..

i'm sure this is pretty obvious to some people, but it took me a while to understand.. but once i knew what to do it's pretty simple..

The is really the best game they produced, I know this game from when I was a young child, it's also a good game for educational use.

They say theire is a UW3 but only in Korea...

There's UW3-4, and an MMOG version, all avalible only in Korea. Link (at Wikipedia)

The game won't work under normal Windows XP. Use DOSBox. And it's really not advisable to post your e-mail address in forums, bots pick them up and send spam to them.

Ok I have got the game running and going well. The only thing I can't figure out is battle controls.
Anyone have any help on this. By the way I am working on a rather Detailed Map and Port Info in Excel

Ok let me clarify a little. I don't care a lot for the "mouse" so I wanted to you without mouse. I realize that when in battle I need to enable the number pad, but I can't see to toggle menus and such like right clicking the mouse does.

I don't feel like saving, shutting down, restart with mouse every time I go into a battle

Ive just come back to a previous save position of this game that Ive haven't played for ages. I remember being paid by someone to discover things and report back but I don't know who they are. Is there a way I can find out?

I've a question for all! Some dude in Seville asked me to bring Ruby Shield for him! So I travelled from Seville to Veracruz to meet Bonita and buy the map from her. So I go the map but WHERE THE HELL IS THE TREASURE? Does anyone have the coord to Ruby Shield? I've Speculum but it doesn't help much GRRRRR!
