Hello, I've been considering this tool/language in order to work on some games. It's an extensive engine that can allow 3D and 2D, and as long as you know what you're doing you can do almost any type of game.
Does anyone have any experience with this tool? Or has anyone ever heard of it? I'm looking to hear some opinions on it's usefullness and reliability, and please, if you have something to say, don't reply with "Go use C++" or "It sucks" or "It's a really basic language".

We're currently planning on remaking populous: the beginning in DarkBasic and have a basic engine running. I'm just the webmaster of this project but I've looked at the code and it looks a bit basic (not Basic but basic :S). I don't know if it has got too many limitations, I mean, graphic engines are easy to make with DarkBasic, but will AI and other stuff like that be easier with darkbasic?

AI is the hardest in basic, that's why RTS games require a little more experienced Dark programmers.
The thing is it's very easy, so it won't be a problem finding some good developers.
