Installing Games
Hey all, I was trying to install "Death Gate" into Virtualbox and I could not get it working. Is there any issues the games on this site and compatibility with Virtualbox? Should I be using DOSbox? Any info would be appreciated.

We don't test compatibility with VirtualBox.
Since VirtualBox does not emulate an operating system, you had to install one. If you didn't, that's the cause of the problem right there. If you did, it's possible that the system you chose is incompatible with the games you're trying to run. Most of the games on Abandonia are DOS games and as such run fine in DOSBox. Windows 3 games run in Windows 3.11 inside DOSBox. Windows 9x games... vary. Sometimes compatibility mode is sufficient (in particular on Windows XP), other times you need to use a virtual machine (such as your VirtualBox) or some other, more complex, solution.
