Hm. The front page says "1001mb free", "10mb attachments"..

Gmail offers a bit over 2GB (2112mb right now), too.

I hardly ever use emails, and when I do use emails there is hardly ever an attachment with it.

What is the limit for attachments with Gmail? I use mostly Yahoo (which I find great overall) with a limit of 10mb and email limit 250MBs.

It is also 10MB.

@ Iron_Scarecrow - I use it a lot for work and school. Last 6-7 years I never used floppies, but email and yahoo's briefcase. Much more secure then junky floppies.

I don't use floppy disks either. All my school work goes on paper.

Why would I need 2 Gb for E-mail? I don't even use the 250 Mb that comes with Hotmail. Seems a bit excessive.

Keep in the mind that until rescently hotmail was only 2MB. I had to log on everyday to clean trash.

No one was ever able to send me any serius attachments on that email.

My yahoo, made at the same time, 7-8 years ago was 6MB.

Today I use all three of them, with different purpose...

OK, will someone please explain to me how you have such a large email account with hotmail? A friend of mine keeps telling me his account was upgraded in terms of space, but my free hotmail account is still at 2mbs
Also I am getting the strangest spam in that email account where they come with attachments of several hundrend kilobytes and thus every few hours I have to empty the junk folder or else they fill the quota in like 3-4 hours. I also get lots of ads on the side about upgrading to a pay hotmail account...

I use yahoo email since oh 1997 and I am very satisfied with it. I just wish there was an email account that you could have some HUGE attachments (a few hundrend MBs), though I doubt it any time soon.

There is region setting, and I believe only USA and Canada users have bigger account. (not sure about other ones, they might tell you for them selfs)

One way to change it is to change your profile to country: USA and to use some zip code. 49512 - MI works if you need help

Not sure if this will work.

What country are you in?
