Well moving archives doesn't take long, but when it's being done, there IS a lag. If you happen to log on/browse at that exact moment, you'd notice it. Again, if it's 2 minutes in a single day I'm exagerating (that is in total: mailing list and archive movement). It's probably less!

Yeah, I've noticed it a couple of times. Mainly when it takes more than 3 seconds for my 20-tabsworth of topics to load.

Ah so that explains the times when the site slows down by a noticeable amount. I always wondered what that was. I usually have a abandonia.com window open at ALL times whilst surfing and refresh it a lot.. sometimes it does slow down quite a bit. I just thought it was the server being influenced by all of the old stuff here.. it was acting slow and old to fit in!

Okay, it's got to be my ISP. I can access it through http:///anonymouse.org (It's "down" right now, through my ISP) so that's what I'll have to do, I can ignore the ads, but it's too bad I have to go through that extra effort to view Abandonia :P
