GTA, GTA London blinking, flickering screen
I've got annoying problem: when I start a GTA game, choose player and the city, my screen starts to show garbage. It blinks showing messed up textures. I tried to run it in DOS mode with DOSBox and everything works fine, but GTA London is Windows-only, so my problem comes back. I changed properties to run in Windows 98 mode, but it shows me that it is "unable to link to KERNEL32.dll", despite the fact this library is in windows/system32 folder. Anyone had this problem with that game and knows how to answer my question?
BTW I've tried to make a screenshot with messed up graphics, but it turn out to be fine Now I have no idea what could be wrong. |

Most likely the kernel32.dll in your version of Windows no longer has some of the functionalities that were present in the Windows 95/98 one. Hardly surprising.

Windows XP sp3, fresh install, GeForce8600GT and nVidia Drivers + DirectX9.0c. I remember I could play this game, but I don't know under what circumstances.
